The first day of “Back to School” went well! I have a sweet group (of talkers) and look forward to a great year! My team has decided to departmentalize so I am the 2nd grade Math Teacher! I also help with Literacy, but am in charge of math! I am so excited!
And, thanks to KarenD, we have a great, non-lopsided family portrait (even though I am the only one looking at the camera) to document the first day! I love my boys! I could just kiss those chubby cheeks all day!

I was lurking today and was blessed with a new blog! It is written by the wife of the lead male singer for Selah! Their songs have ministered to my heart over the last year and a half. I found myself crying with her, praising God with her, agreeing with the words that she says and found relief knowing that I am not the only person who is not quite sure how to describe feelings about what goes on in life. I can say that her grief and the grief of her family is something that I cannot imagine bearing and pray that no one ever has to bear! But I know wholeheartedly that God is bringing people to him through her pain and bringing glory to his name!

Sorry I haven’t posted much lately! I have been having two issues! My first is that my camera has decided to take mostly blurry pictures so there haven’t been many good pictures to post! My second issue is that I have been trying to savor the last few days of freedom before going back to school!
My sweet boy is making huge steps in growing up! Literally! He is pulling up on everything! Crawling all over the place and cruising! He cruises around the coffee table and then to the couch! It will not be long before he lets go and starts walking! He is growing so fast!
We just went to the doctor and Nathan is extremely healthy! He is no longer in the <5%! He has moved to the 75th% in both height and weight! He has also officially become . . . dracula!!!! He has two bottom teeth! I expected his top teeth to be next . . . but his top eye teeth came in!!!! Too bad it is not closer to Halloween! He could go as Dracula! Ha, ha!!!!!
He has also discovered balls! He loves balls! He has learned to roll them and throw them! It is too cute! Although Rusty is REALLY confused! He thinks all balls belong to him!
We still go on our walks with Rusty! Nathan also has begun to “help” me in the kitchen while I cook dinner! Don’t worry, when the stove is on, I do not let him near it!
My sweet boy also has a new Baylor t-shirt! Look at that Sic ‘em bears that he is doing! I think I need to start saving now for college! I love this boy! He keeps me laughing!
I have gone back to school and Nathan has started at his new daycare which is also at our church! I am happy and Nathan seems to be happy too! I won’t wait so long before posting again!

Well, a new song has crept into our nightly going to bed routine! We still sing “Baby Mine”, “Jesus Loves me” and “Stay Awake” (from Mary Poppins). Growing up I LOVED “The Music Man”. I knew all the songs and sang along with the movie every time I watched it! (Funny, that can be said about many of the musicals that I watched as a child!) Well, about a month ago I began singing “Goodnight, My Someone” to Nathan as he fights off sleep!

Right now, my someone is sleeping soundly after a long, hard day! What a special gift! My heart is full! My mind is racing! And I am exhausted!

My big brother and his wife told me a few weeks ago that they were pregnant! I was overjoyed!
Today he called and told me that . . .
THEY ARE HAVING TWINS!!!!!!! Oh my gosh! God is so good!
