My Favorite Things

My sweet baby boy turned 6 months old on Monday!  I can hardly believe that he has already been with me for 6 months.  He changes every day – laughing, smiling, blowing raspberries, reaching and grabbing for things and showing his special personality! 

Here are a few pictures!  My sweet friend Jenny m  (love you Jenny) was gracious enough to take several (hundred) pictures of Nathan on Sunday.  If you would like to see some of the pictures she took, click on her link to the right.  (I haven’t quite figured out how to put a link in my post)! 

Here are a few pictures of what we did yesterday!  We had a fun day and are both very tired!

We played in his room!  He loves his bumbo!

He ate bananas for the first time!  He LOVED them!

We went to the Caldwell Zoo and met up with some friends.  It was quite a pleasant surprise!

We got out the blow up baby pool and took a dip!

This is my attempt to get a family picture!  I took a lot and this is the best one!

My First Mother’s Day was wonderful!  “You look rough!”  I heard you!  Yes, I do look pretty not made up!  Well, Nathan decided that he wanted to be up a long time during the night.  When we finally went back to sleep, I overslept and didn’t wake up in time to take a shower before church!  I threw on clothes, dressed Nathan and then went to church! I was NOT going to miss my first mother’s day at church!  I, however, did not have to look at myself, others did!    Nathan looks super cute, though!

After church, as tradition would have it when I am with my brother in Houston, we went to Taco Cabana for breakfast tacos and then home.  He grilled chicken and veggie fajitas!  Wonderful! 

I am so blessed to be the mother of such a precious and fun little boy and to have a family such as mine!
